People who are so messed up in their head that they think ending the lives of others will help them. In my opinion, nothing can help people like that. Not even themselves. Families lost their loved ones one month ago today, in an event that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. They are physically and mentally scarred. The seventeen that day were parents, friends, children, aunts, and uncles. It hurts to think about what could happen if we were ever in that situation. The shooting sent a wake up call to people all around the country, causing them to protest and share their thoughts and suggestions for safety. Something as incredibly emotional and dark at the events of February 14 doesn't deserve protests, it deserves recognition and prayers and to be forever engraved in our minds because those people who were lost in an unfair and uncalled for tragedy shouldn't be forgotten. Although the shooting is terrible and horrific, it could help us for next time someone decides it would be a good idea to try this and recreate the horribly intelligent massacre at their own public places. We can be able to stop it. There are unsafe environments everywhere, and it only takes one action, one word, one letter to a public figure, to help make them safer. None of us have to speak about this, we don't have to tell the families that we pray for them, but we can tell them that we can do something, that we will do something. It is the horrific acts that everyone hears about on the news and never the good, Vtech, Sandy Hook, Columbine, and anything in between is what always opens our eyes and think, hey we should do something, then it is forgotten and then another thing, and another, and another, and another. Anyone can tell you that they are thinking and praying but that can help as much as the president claiming he is taking action, what we can do is take a breath and look around this school is particularly horrific because officers, and teachers, and people thought it might have been a drill and did NOTHING absolutely sat there not saying a word one day things might change but that day may be out of our lifetimes but by then it will be to late women, children, men, pets, will have been lost because of these heinous acts we all come to school to become better people and its people like this who make us come to school to be afraid some may speculate that this all started almost 20 years ago at Columbine when Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shot and killed many children and staff. May god have mercy on any poor soul who have ever wanted to or acted on these events and I am having a feeling that prison isnt a punishment of their crimes but a protection to the suspects from the civilians who along with myself wont to rip him in pieces
