It was an honour for me to get an opporturnity to work here. The reason i choose these places because it have such a great surrounding and the facilities and its owner are cool too.  
For my first day, I have been introduce with all the staff which has 7 staff in total. The staff are not many because the restaurant are more on family and friends business, so the staff are their brothers, love one, the young sister, and the big brother and close friends. 
After that, I walk around the restaurant to make me comfortable with the places. I need to come to work at 3.30pm because we need to do mise en places first for the chef to cook at the evening. My 1st day was great, helping others staff doing the task and get close to them and create bonding.

Lots of orders to be taken because we doesn't make self services but "masakan panas" dan "colek". Our restaurant prepared many kinds of seafood services to be chosen in "colek" based on customer taste. The seafood are shown in front of the main door of the restaurant as one of the strategy to attract customer. If there is a customer, i just need to show the menu and they will make their choices. After taking the order, i just serve the foods and drinks to customer. It was a busy day and i meet many kind of attitude in customers. In the evening, I help the staff to clean all the raw materials such as chicken, meat, prawn, squid, some vegetable before put it in a tray for the mise en places. After the clean, I observe on how they mix the ingredient for all the raw material so that customer will have a very clean and nice food and how they prepared for the other things such as set the tables and so on. I also take charge in wiping the plates, spoon and fork. After that, as usual help clean the raw materials, place the materials at the right place and be ready when the customer came. One of the employees was sick. So, i need to take her duties. I need to obtains requisitioned items from the storeroom and ensure the proper storage. Actually about the item of storage only handle by an experience workers.
To do this, my boss guide me on how to handle it. After that, the raw materials has arrived and we starts our duty with washing and preparing the ingredients. Customer are slowly coming at 5pm - 6pm till late night. But it's raining heavily tonight, the number of customers comes to our restaurant are less than usual. Today my duties still to pick up food from the kitchen and collecting the dirty dishes to dish-cleaning area. Actually, i was a little bit nervous because i need to play and hold lots of money but i overcome my fear and take courage. i need to have these experience for future. I learn to take the risk because if there's a risk there's an opportunity . I also learn to use the cash machine. I tried and trained myself to talk friendly and always smile in front of the customers. I also learned the body language such as eye contact with the customers when I’m making the order and my tone is clear to make sure that the customers can hear my voice. Today, I was taught to pick up the bill from the customers. The first step is print the bill. I have to double check the bill before I give to the customer. The customers have 3 ways of paying their bills which is credit or debit card cash, and the customers can make their payment by fave pay.
