El idioma w贸lof es una lengua hablada en Senegal y Gambia, lengua nativa de la etnia w贸lof y usada secundariamente en la regi贸n. Tiene algo m谩s de cinco millones de hablantes nativos y el n煤mero total de hablantes incluyendo como segunda lengua est谩 entre los siete y los ocho millones.
Es el idioma m谩s hablado en Senegal, y es hablado aparte de los w贸lof (que representan el 40 % de la poblaci贸n) por otros senegaleses.
