- Eventually, they came out from underground because the sleer did not mention how many of them were there. 
- The policewoman was searching for Scarlett and was flustered to see her come out from the mausoleum. Her parents were crying, not knowing where she was and while this was happening, nobody could see Bod. 
- Bod talked to Silas about what he did and if he would ever see Scarlett again.
- Three weeks later, Scarlett came back for her last visit to the graveyard before moving to Scotland for his dad to teach particle physics.
-The Sleer guarded and protected  a cup, a little stone knife and an old brooch.

The Honorable Harchibald Fitzhugh: a ghoul who considers bringing Bod into the ghoul-gate for the food.
Additional Ghouls: they always rejoice on how they want to make Bod "one of them" and how they can eat well, not get sick, and they bragged how smart they were.

- The three men debate on if they should let Bod through the ghoul-gate for very good food, after his complaint regarding his lack of love, and gross grub.
- Bod was carried over the Bishop's head, while Duke spoke a different language and grabbed a stone slab covering the grave which opened a trap door.
-Bod fell through the trap door in complete darkness. 
- There are two moons; a white, huge one, and a smaller, blue-ish green one that was celebrating with a stop of a march and a camp beside the road.
- the beast/monster is Miss Lupescu who mentioned how the night-gaunts saved him three times; when he called for help, when they heard ghouls wanting to kill, and then eat you, and then the current situation
- they stop at the boundary and can see the Milky Way.
- Bod comes home and finds the item list under the rock that he had hid before.
- Silas comes back home and knows some things that happened. - While in the room, he sees Liza who sets a curse on him so he is not seen. Then, he unlocks the key by putting paper under the door, jiggling a crumpled up piece of paper with a paint brush which drops the key onto the paper, leading it to the inside of the room for him the safely get the brooch and get out of the store. 
- the men have a fight on who the brooch belongs to
-he has a heavy glass paperweight, the paintbrush, and a little pot of paint with him when he leaves in his pocket. 
-he gets out of the locked room by flattening a piece of newspaper under the door and jiggling a paintbrush into the keyhole to release the key and let it fall onto the piece of paper half slipped under and half in the room. He then pulled the paper into the room with the key on top of it. 
-Silas finds Bod on the streets and brings him home.
- Bod brought the brooch back and the sleer was right that the stuff always comes back.
-When Bod returned his jeans to the gardener's hut, he painted on E.H. onto the paperweight and placed it on Liza's head who responded kindly, but was not there.
