Incorporating multicultural perspectives and content in all subjects is important when educating students. Providing students with reading materials that include diverse cultures and readings.

Providing students with multicultural perspectives and content can be having a guest speakers from the local community. Speakers that have different cultural backgrounds with real world examples is a great learning tool for students to listen and have open discussions.

Examples of multicultural literature are "Escaping from Home" by David J. Childs & James C. Stone, "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian" by Sherman Alexie & Ellen Forney.

Examples of multicultural historical events are The March on Washington (1963), The 13th Amendment (1865), The Japanese Internment (1940).

As an educator learning about each students' cultural backgrounds is important. Taking the time to understand each students' background, traditions and language to help students' feel valued.

The educator should be creating a learning space that all students' can share about their own personal cultural background. By students' discussing about personal cultural backgrounds can allow for new understandings on cultures.

Meeting the needs for diverse learners is important as the educator to learn what method of learnings styles work best for each student. Visual, auditory, kinesthetic and reading/writing all are examples of learning styles meeting all diverse students is important finding out what one works best can allow the educator to adapt to their needs.

Strategies that can educators can use to meet diverse learners needs may be adapting to their personal needs. There are many different ways such as visual aides, translation on preferred language, modification on assignments.

To create a multicultural classroom environment providing students with a learning space that show diversity with all cultures is important. Incorporating photos, books and examples of diverse cultures can create a diverse space.

Celebrating cultural differences as an educator with students' is a great learning experience. Engaging with students' on their cultural holidays to share with the class can allow students' to feel valued and heard.

Having students' learn about new languages such as a classmate who speaks another language can create communication skills for all students'. Providing students' with the translation, examples and lesson can create new language skills.

Setting standards in the classroom as the educator to ensure all students' feel respected, heard, valued and caring for others. As a diverse classroom it is important all students' can feel accepted.

Including families and community members into the diverse classroom can allow for a better understanding for students', families and community members.

Reaching out to community members with diverse cultural backgrounds to be guest speakers in the classroom can be a great learning experience for students'.

Inviting students' families to workshops to gather a better understanding on the diverse classroom setting. Allowing families to come into the classroom to meet the educator and work together for all the students' diverse needs.

Hosting an event in the school or classroom setting for the families of all the students' to come in to share about their cultural backgrounds. Celebrating holidays, seasons or events throughout the school year is a great way for everyone to be together. Having different cultural foods, activities, examples and speakers is a great learning experience.
