Our standards for a high quality bus transport system are that buses should be air-conditioned, with seats for commuters to sit, especially a dire need for handrails for commuters to hold on to should they be standing. In addition to that, high quality buses should have wheelchair accessible spaces. Buses should have entrances and exits wide enough for a large number to board the bus simultaneously, especially for wheelchair-bound commuters to go through and board. Buses should have a reliable travel time, and have numerous yet accessible bus stops.

In a nutshell, these are our opinions on what we think a high quality bus transport system is.

The minimum requirement for us in a bus would include seats, hand railings and adequate space to stand during rush hour. High standards that we have for the interior would contain a wheelchair area, ramp, a second floor and generally squeaky clean utilities. It would also be high quality if it visited various modes/locations so they could reach more people.

Have more seats for the elderly so that the bus is inclusive for the elderly and people who need the extra seats.

Buses must be functioning perfectly, with no parts falling of or faulty. This ensures the passenger’s safety and enjoyment during the ride.

I think a high quality bus transport system includes a bus that provides air conditioning, is clean, has seats that can fit at least 30 people at a time, bells and handrails to hold onto. Besides this, the bus should also be efficient, fast and accessible to everyone while being affordable.
