I think what I found the most challenging was agreeing on some things. Like limits and mascots and stuff like that. For example Angelene and I agree on our mascots name and Nikola and Marissa think that it’s stupid. Also Nikola and I were discussing how many children should be allowed in a family and then we talked to Mrs. Walters and she said that making a limit would be dystopian like, and we are making a utopian society so we then decided that there should be no limits. The things that are the most simple now are sort of making up ideas about our society. For example we are sort of making our daily schedule for something or making rules for when kids grow up. As you can see some things that we found challenging were agreeing on some topics, and what we found least challenging was making some easy rules for our society.

My book club found it most challenging to decide if we wanted money or not. We still have not agreed, and will hopefully accomplish that today. I liked the organizer we used, and thought that it really helped us plan out our utopian society; You-topia! We found coming up with a animal to represent our society and naming our society least challenging. We named our society the first day we were presented with the project, and we we agreed on the first suggestion we had on an animal. We selected the dove. It represents the peace and love we give to our society.

I thought that the organizer is a great idea to collaborate and work together but you only fill out one section so its kinda a waste of paper but everyone needs there own so i understand why its like that. I found it very easy to work together and hear each other’s ideas. It was difficult to think about everything we needed and plan what this society would be like. That is how i felt about this organizer activity.

For example, I wanted to have money in our society. On the other hand, Kaitlin did not. Hopefully we can figure out a compromise where everyone is happy. Something that we found easy was coming up with the name, motto and animal. Everyone agreed and pitched in ideas which made it easy to decide.

I found this challenging because, trying to agree with one another’s ideas about the Society took a long time. I found agreeing that our animal which represeants Utopia is the dove. We all agreed the dove is peaceful and so is our society.
