The young Jimin had fallen in love with dancing when he was in the middle school, that's why he studied contemporary dance when he was in high school and being the top student there.

Thanks to his teacher who told him to pursue his dream. Even though his father wanted him to be a police officer, but he ended up being a professional dancer and auditioning to Big Hit. I mean, his moves look smooth and elegant, he knows how to control them well. It would be a pity if he decided to give up back then.

He has a warm heart, like he always pay attention to the safety of his members, the staffs, the dancers, even the bird without one leg that he founds somewhere when he was waiting for his fast food.

He knows how to take care and comfort his members well, he has always been there when the members feeling down or need his help. He always supports them, and the members are so grateful for that.

He even has the thought to comfort as many people as possible through the song, especially ARMYs, that’s how the song “Promise’ was born.

With the hustle and bustle we've always faced, somehow it all happened. The hateful words given to Jimin have changed his view of himself little by little. He has struggled to be what people want him to be, and when he changed there are still those who are dissatisfied with it. We wanted to shout to them to return our old Jimin, who was full of confidence, cheerful and playful. But on the other hand, we know we can't do it bluntly, so all we can do is to support and appreciate what he's done and what he wants to do in the future. Hello, Jimin hyung. This is your younger brother, Jungkookie. First of all, happy birthday! This birthday of yours marks almost a decade we’ve been together, sharing our laughs and cries, highs and lows.

I remember that time when we first met, you thought me as a hyung, lol. During our trainee days too, determination and high spirit reflected in your fiery eyes. You stayed up late practicing until 4 and woke up at 6 to go to school with V hyung. Your effort and diligence and persistence are top notch. We also share many things in common, I learned a lot from you both on stage and off stage. Now that we’re here, I’m just so damn proud of your achievements and so glad that we both are in the same team.

Talking about Jiminie hyung, we can’t forget about your bright personality and your selflessness. The fact that you always put yourself above others is admirable, especially to me. You’re genuine, caring, and sometimes too kind that I want to knock your head to scold you for not thinking about yourself at times. Nevertheless, I want to say thank you for everything, every single damn thing even the smallest one, that you did for me and for the sake of the team.

Where should I start? When we first met? When training days? When PD-nim asked me if we should have you in final team or not? Or when we have debuted? I think in every journey of my life since we first met until now there has always been you.

Watching you grow up over the years has been one of my life’s great joys. I’m so privileged to be a part of your life, and I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend to share my years with. I don't know if you remember this, but I'm gonna say it again that you always care about me and understand me. You also listen to my concerns and like me even though I am lacking in many ways.
