I wanted to get a point across that maybe someone could come off as a very formal person but also has hidden aspects of a casual and relaxed person. After research I thought it was intriguing the way their bottles had changed over decades. For the colors I focused of glasswork to show a more 3 dimensional look to the bottles. I also wanted to focus on the most present bottle as the biggest and drift away into the previous years. I started off with bold colors and blending and then resulted to collage and textures. This project for me was my most enjoyable. I got to use brand new techniques and use new tools to combine it into one piece of artwork. I started off from cluttered collages to detailed and well blended projects. Proportions were a huge area of difficulty for me but I learned with portrait making and Observation practices how to view things in different ways. I was able to step out of my comfort zone and draw 3 dimensional objects as they looked other than a flat 2 dimensional object. My favorite technique that has helped me a lot with my artworks is viewing shadows and the small details. By focusing on the smaller details it had helped my artwork have more dimension and seem more realistic. Cant wait to test my abilities again this next semester and I regret not taking this class previous years.
