Amount of kcal goes to 20-40kcal

Amount of protein goes to 1.5-2g/kg

In high output we prescribe Parenteral nutrition

That the protein and energy intake at a rate 1.5-2.0 g/kg/d, that the PN should not initiated for patients at low nutriotinal risk, PN increased the risk of infection and mortality. PN dose for Severly malnourished patients should <20kcal/kg day.
