My Landmark: Mount Apo

I want to share a famous landmark from my country — Mount Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines!

It’s located between Davao City and North Cotabato, and I’m proud to say I live in Davao. Mount Apo is often called the “King of Philippine Mountains” and is home to amazing wildlife, including the Philippine eagle. Many climbers visit to experience its beauty and challenge themselves. For me, Mount Apo stands for strength, pride, and the natural beauty of Davao.

Hi! I’m Sheena Bajenting, a 7th grader, and I’d like to share one of the most popular cultural landmarks in Davao City— People’s Park. 🌳

People’s Park is known for its beautiful landscape filled with tropical trees, colorful flowers, and artistic sculptures that reflect the rich culture of the Davaoeños. It has a big open area where people can jog, walk, or simply relax and enjoy nature. One of its highlights is the durian-shaped dome, which represents one of Davao’s famous fruits. The park also showcases the work of local artists, making it not just a place for recreation but also for appreciating art and culture.
