Collate and confirm the student’s achievement of proficiencies and programme outcomes in the academic and practice environment for each part of the programme. 

Academic Mentor (AM) 

Is the same academic as the student’s Academic assessor. Their primary purpose is to give the student advice and guidance relating to their educational journey and signpost to sources of specialist advice and support as required. All academic staff are only aligned to one Part of the programme to prevent allocation on consecutive years. 

Practice Assessor (PA) 

Assess and confirm the student’s achievement of practice learning objectives within practice learning experiences. 

Practice Supervisor (PS) 

Is to support and supervise nursing and midwifery students learning in the practice learning environment.
