Throughout the book I thought about when I saw a circus a long time ago and it changed my view of the Circus by telling me about thing that go on behind the bright lights of the circus tent, such as red lighting, Being thrown off a moving train as punishment of to avoid paying wages.

The part I visualized the most was when August, Jacob, and Merlena go to the club and they get caught up in a riot in the streets. I could imagine the people running around, outraged, and August getting separated from Jacob and Marlena. I envision a very fancy restaurant with a dance floor and booths as people run, bottleneck, through a pair of gold and white double doors and Jacob and Marlena are violently shoved away from August.
