Is 1.64 square kilometre nature reserve near the geographic centre of the city-state of Singapore,located on the slpoe of Bukit Timah Hill.

Together with its neighbour Central Cathment Nature Rserve,it houses over 840 species of plants(flora) and over 500 species of fauna(all of the animal life of any particular region or time).

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is now under restoration (from september 2014 to march 2015) as there is many exposed tree roots and gullies which might pose as a danger to those who trek there.During the restoration,NParks will also restore half of the trails,stablising slopes and restoring its flora and fauna.A 1.3 km broadwalk will also be built and rails will also be built on trails to ensure safty of the people and species there .The visitor's centre will also be upgraded,and a new toliet block will be built.Be sure to visit it when it reopens!
