         <description><![CDATA[<div>Part 1 - I have completed the drafting of unit 1 so far and submitted to the mentor and the leader. I am waiting for the feedback.</div><div>I am following the Unit 1 lesson observetaion format to prepare my regular leasson plans. The format really helping&nbsp; me to catch up and execute my every important part (key features) of the lesson while delivering regular lessons.&nbsp;<br>I am also focusing on reflective practice and different activities to encourage and apply active learning practice.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After this training, I understood that whatever I have practiced in classroom actually has a definition which I wasnt aware of. At the beginning it was hard to differentiate the teaching methods but gradually could get hold of it after several discussion and research during the training. After lesson observation ,the learning became more effective. Currently while editing the draft for the portfolio ,I recollected all my forgotten lessons which will help me make better lesson plans and execute better classroom teaching.<br><br>I want to find my errors so I will make a precise lesson plan and execute during observation. While my mentor reflects I can find the errors and work on it.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In unit- 1, I got the ideas about 5 learning theories such as Behaviorism, Cognitive, Constructivism, Humanism and Connectivism. I am trying to use these theories in my current practice through different teaching approaches. Educators can utilise these 5 theories to help enhance their classrooms and make better learning environments for all students. After getting ideas about these I have completed my Unit- 1 drafting. Now I am checking the word limits. My mentor has gone through the hard copy of drafting and gave me very positive feedback which inspired me a lot. I have observed an expert teacher's class which helped me out a lot to focus all the areas of teaching and learning.          <title>Reconnecting to your Progress in Unit 2</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Reflection / Progress:&nbsp; <br></strong>I was able to complete the UNIT-1 portfolio, however, there are some things that I will be changing as we move forward with the training. As I am reading more articles, PDFs, and books (shared in the training), I feel like adding so much more to the portfolio. Thus I will keep editing it until I am fully satisfied with my writing. <br><br><strong>Unit-2 Reflection:<br></strong>In unit-2 we got to know about how to reconnect to the prior learning of students and then build on new learning. <br>We reflected and shared ideas about a coherent lesson plan. <br>Also, we got to understand the different steps of assessment (Pre-observation discussion and Post- observation discussion). <br><br><strong>Application: <br></strong>I will be keeping the LP criteria in mind from Unit-1 and Unit-2 while making the LP of the upcoming session. Also, I will share some ideas with my colleagues to keep coherence within the grade and all sections. <br>Also, from Unit-1 the two types of reflection by Schon (reflection-in-action &amp; reflection-on-action) are something that I will be applying as well.<br><br><strong>Unit-1 Development: <br></strong>I am<strong> </strong>planning to develop a metacognition checklist. The below point will be in the check list. <br>&nbsp;a) Clear learning objective, <br>b) Encourgement, <br>c) Opportunities, <br>d) Self-reflection, <br>e) Supportive Classroom Environment. <br><br>Learners willl be aware of what is being tought so that they can understand their learning objective and can plan to achive it by identifying metacognitive strategies. Also, making sure that we teachers are asking proper questions to promote active thinking while creating opportunities for them to share their ideas, thoughts, and understanding. <br><br><strong>Lesson Observation: <br></strong>I am planning to make a Lesson Plan where the learning objective, opportunity, and outcome will be coherent.&nbsp;<br>Learners will be aware of the learning goals and will reflect on their previous knowledge to build new ones.&nbsp;<br>There will be space for reflection where learners will be able to reflect on what they have learned.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have been working on completing Unit 1 of the Cambridge Teaching and Learning course, and I have written a draft. However, as I continue my training and read more academic journals, I have come across new ideas and perspectives that I want to include in my work. I believe these additions will make my write-up better and help me understand the course material more deeply. I plan to go back and revise my initial reflection to make it more comprehensive and polished. This process of learning and refining my understanding is important for my growth as an educator.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>In Unit 2, I learned about the importance of reconnecting prior learning to build upon new concepts. We discussed the significance of creating a coherent lesson plan and explored the various steps involved in designing an effective lesson. Through collaborative discussions, we shared ideas on how to structure lessons that build on students' existing knowledge and facilitate meaningful connections between different concepts. This understanding of lesson planning will help me create engaging and purposeful learning experiences for my students.<br><br></div><div>&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
