God, we thank you for the life of the Samaniego's. We pray that whenever that they will feel weary and burdened, just as the verse said in Matthew 11:25-30, they will always come to you and find rest. Whenever that they will sleep in the night and wake up in the morning, they will look to you as a faithful and loving God who will never leave them nor forsake them. May you give them peace that transcends all understanding. Thank you Lord for you will comfort them as a Father who comforts their children. The following seasons may not be easy but we know that they can trust you Lord because you are there beginning, middle and end. We lift to you up every pain. Lord, we pray that you will protect their whole family and refresh them as they seek you more. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Praying that the comfort of God that surpasses all will be with you and your family.

I remember that one time I met your mom nung sasabay ka sa amin ni Ken from Olongapo to Manila, she made it to a point na mameet niya kami just to say thank you, at nagbigay pa siya ng pasalubong for us. I only met her once, but ramdam na ramdam ko how much love she has for you and sa family niyo. I felt how much she radiated so much joy and love to the people around her in that single moment.  

I know you have numerous moments like that where her life was an extension of God's love for you and your family, of how she surrounded your home with her unconditional love and "alaga"-- and how much you cherish each moment you have with her. 

If you feel like crying, I'd like to remind you that it's okay to mourn. It's okay to cry out everything to God, every pain, every hurt.  I pray that as you do, there you will receive God's comfort. It's okay to voice out your thoughts and emotions to God. I pray that as you do, you would receive a revelation of how personal God is to you. 

I pray that in this season of mourning, God will be the one to overflow you with His love and comfort. 

I hope and pray that each day you wake up is a reminder that God's mercies are new every morning, that Great is His faithfulness, still and forever. 

 Know that the battle is not yours alone. You have the Lord with you every step of the way, you have your family, you have your church community with you.
