My favorite piece of writing that I am submitting to the portfolio is my "Where I'm From" poem. I chose this poem because I feel as though I put a lot of depth into this piece.
2. My favorite week of this class was the first week was probably the first week because everything we learned in that week was my favorite topic and I'm proud of the work I accomplished that week.
3. Something that surprised me in this was was that we were able to do other forms of creative writing that I did not expect, including reviews, menus, recipes, and directions. I've learned that they can be pieces of creative writing and how to write them.
4. Something that I am most proud of in this class is the progress I've made in becoming a better writer. I believe that I can use everything that I've learned in this quarter to improve my writing in the future.
5. The biggest challenge of this quarter for me was definitely making sure I wasn't affected by procrastination and being able to submit assignments on time.

I like this piece because I love sharing my cooking ideas to the world. And writing down the recipe is one way to do that. 
I would say my favorite week of this class, would be first week because I love writing poems. Although, I didn't pick one of those as my favorite. I really do enjoy writing them.
Something that surprised me, is that even though our class is called Multi-Genre Creative Writing. I would never known that recipes, film, songs, and yelp review, would be counted as a genre. 
I'm really proud of how I was all caught up in this class. I did struggle all of my other classes. But since I enjoyed this and it didn't take too much of my time. I was able to get it done quick. 
My biggest challenge of this quarter for me, would be probably not having enough time of doing my work. My favorite piece of writing was my song review because it felt really nice to listen to a new song, discover a new artists and write down what i thought. I took the time to listen to the artists other songs to gain some new perspective. I was also really proud of the outcome, although now i know i couple things i could change and tweak, for my first time, i think i did well. 
2. My favorite week in class was the first week. I don't know why but i found that week super exciting.  
3. I was surprised about how much i enjoyed this class. I knew i kinda liked writing, so i took the elective, but i never thought i would enjoy writing like how i did. 
4. Something I'm most proud of in this class is my overall writing skill. Not only did i like writing more, i felt more proud of my work than before. 
5. My biggest challenge this class was the menu and recipe. I don't know why i struggle with the menu but i do know why i struggled with the recipe. I struggled without a recipe because i didn't have one, so i just searched one up.

Imma copy Evan here and say yall were amazing. This was an amazing class. great work and great writing.

I didn't have any favorite week, but I had favorite activities like describing photos and when you played songs and we would rate them.

Something that surprised me was that there's not a lot of people in this class, I was expecting 15-25 but there are only like 11 lol, still everyone participates and that's good because quality>quantity.

I am proud of how I did some homework that I wasn't motivated to do first but still got it done (I'm still working on missing assignments)

One of the biggest challenges of this quarter was turning in homework because summer school just started after a stressful school year it was hard to find the motivation of still turning in stuff

2) My favorite week of this class was when we were doing reviews. I liked when we had to guess the song lyrics during class. 

3) Something that surprised me in this class was the amount of freedom we had when it came to the assignments, you were never strict about what we had to write which I liked.

4) I am most proud of my writing for this class. I never considered myself a strong writer or super creative but writing helped push that side out of me.

My favorite piece of writing that I'm submitting is my fast fiction "Ghost of You" because it's something I worked really hard on and spent a lot of time making sure the idea was executed well.  
2. What was your favorite week of this class and why? My favorite week of this class was when we worked on the fast fiction stories because that was the reason I joined this class. I really wanted to learn about writing stories since I love reading books. 
3. Name something that surprised you about this class. Can be anything. I think something that surprised me was how small the class was. I thought more people would've joined this class, but it was actually really small. 
4. Name something you are most proud of in this class. Something I'm most proud of in this class is trying out all these genres of writing despite going into this class for only one thing.

3. Something that surprised me about this class was that I was expecting this class to be about grammar or just learning poems. But I learned so many things besides just poems and using my best skill of writing.
4. Something that I am really proud of is that I was able to finish this class without any missing assignments. At the beginning of the summer program, I was not sure if I am going to pass the classes but now I did it.

Also the poetry week there were so many poems from all of you. Many are on the website. And some of the song/film reviews were just awesome. Also, I loved some of the menus and recipes. 

My favorite week was more then just one week. I loved weeks 1-4 because I got a chance to see all of your different writings. 

What surprised me was not that the class was small. I needed it small because of the website. Hard to put on everyone's work if there were more students. In the future if there are more students we will need to have 2-3 websites of students work.

 I was actually surprised that the fiction pieces came out so well. It is challenging to write fiction. You all did it and many pieces are on the website. We did not get a lot of time to write those pieces and all of your pieces are brilliant!

Biggest challenge: Teaching three classes. But you all made this so fun. Thank you. This took me back to when I used to teach so many classes in the colleges! Awesome work all!

My favorite week was the first week. I enjoyed meeting all of my fellow classmates. 
Something that surprised me about this class was how fun it is! It did not feel like a writing class. 
I am most proud of my grade in this class. Grades are very important to me. 
I feel as though my biggest challenge of this class was stepping out of my comfort zone to share my writing.
