To create a unisex fashion collection that emphasize the importance of intangible cultural heritage preservation by combining the concept of space-time traveling.

Objectives:

1.To study the background theories of space/time travel. 

2.To explore how to visually express the perspectives and scenes of the related novels and movies.

3.To analyze the related movie characters’ dressing and other designers related designs. 

4.To futurize the zhijian, a culture relic, with pattern design.

5.To apply the features analyzed into the collection design.

Fascinating topic, but IMO the aim sounds a little unclear and so do most of the objectives. It seems like your FYP is a large-scale study rather than a small one. Be careful!

l   Darkness mood

-       More use of chiaroscuro methods, pictures often have large areas of shadows, so the overall style of my design will be more depressing and closed. 

-       Crime, violence, complex characters and plotlines, mystery, ambiguity and moral contradictions

l   Structure

-       Slashes divide the screen into restless shapes to create a shaky tilt

-        Antiheroes Gothic double one cloth with double structure

l   Contact color

-       Actors and sets provide equal lighting intensity, allowing actors to hide in the dark, also low light lighting, the color mainly at the hemline

l   German Expressionism

-       Distorted figures, buildings and landscapes are depicted in a bewildering way that defies the conventions of perspective and proportion. This approach, combined with jagged, stylized shapes and harsh, unnatural colors, was used to convey subjective emotions.

IMO, your topic sounds ambitious, but you need to check with your supervisor about this. The rest of the text is not a series of objectives. Take a look at unit 1 again.

Unisex Collection A/W 2024

Aim: To represent the interpretation of love in ancient Greek philosophy according to the ancient Greek philosopher Plato's "Symposium" in the background of modern city, to discuss and to re-understand love with Hong Kong people.

Objectives:

As this is not my field of study, it is difficult for me to comment on the topic. You need to check with your supervisor to see whether the topic can work as a project first. Good luck!
