My name is Sarah Post, I am 32 years old, a psychology major, and moved here two years ago from Portland, Oregon.

Below is a picture of my hometown of West Linn, OR. I never could get used to the constant gloom and darkness in the Pacific Northwest. I love the variety of weather we get here in Oklahoma.

I know some might dispute that he is more villain or anti-hero than superhero, but I disagree. Eddie Brock begins his journey depressed, defeated, and docile. THEN he is infected with a "symbiote" and has to not only adapt to his new host, but has to continue to overcome his deep seated depression, anxiety, ruminating tendencies, etc. Eddie Brock is the epitome of making the best of a bad situation; he repeatedly adapts to survive, instead of allowing defeat. He maintains control of his inner demons (quite literally after the symbiote) and saves the entire world from being taken over by an alien species.
