Alexander: "That is the plan, we are still trying to work out the technology behind it all, because this invention was not a over night thing, and I don't think that a lot of people truly understand that."
Editor: "And that's understandable especially with you having to do it on your own an-"
Alexander: "See, that is what you guys assume, but  actually I had help from a close friend, and my assistant Thomas. Matter fact, I couldn't do it without the help of Thomas Watson."
Editor: "That is a very big statement, you do realize that right?"
Alexander: "I am fully aware, but I believe with something as advance-able as the telephone, meaning that years from now it will be able to be improved more and more, anyone that had anything to do with the foundation should get credit for their time spent"
Editor: "Totally understandable. Are you satisfied with the invention? Were there some things that you would change--"
Alexander: "Of course, Of course. I can honestly say that I consider myself a perfectionist and I believe that mechanically, there could be some improvements, but like I said I believe that the telephone will be an advance-able invention, and I will leave the advancing to upcoming generations."
Editor: "Spoken like a true genius. Congrats to you and Thomas on your success, and we're praying for more to come your way. God Bless."
Alexander: "God Bless."

Though, the telegraph has given us the ability to communicate across the country, there is only so much that you can do with a telegraph. Not to mention, the telegraph requires the ability of knowing Morse-code, and quite frankly, it can be extremely frustrating. 

Alexander Graham Bell first became involved with the science of sound  because both his mother and wife  death. Alexander, not much of an engineer, knew that he wanted to send voice signals down a telegraph wire but he didn't have the engineer background in order to provide the necessary format for going about inventing the Telephone. Coming across Thomas A. Watson,  he and Thomas linked together to find a way to go about the invention. After many failed attempts, on March 10, 1876, while trying to test out the invention, the first words spoken on the telephone were by Alexander himself. They were: "Mr. Watson, come here. I want to see you."  

Although the telegraph has lead the way to the telephone, and hopefully many more long-distance advancing communication inventions, it is time to say good bye telegraph and hello telephone.

Thanks to Alexander Graham Bell and his assistant Thomas Watson; We have now been blessed with a different approach to long-distance communication.

On March 05 in 1876, 29 year old Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. When he was younger he used to work with his father in London. His father Melville Bell invented visible speech, - Visible Speech is a writing system used to teach speaking to the deaf. Him and his dad were very smart.They both invented thing that are still around today.
This invention is a great invention because who would have ever thought that anybody would make a telephone up so you call people like your family members, and friends. What would life like with a telephone, everything would be slow like talking to friend and family letter would slow to the destination.
