As a college student, the first thing I do is snooze my never-ending alarms in the morning. It's literally the hardest part to deal with—opening your eyes because of that particular noise that you don’t want to hear, as you don’t want to get out of bed yet. Next thing I know, I'm already in my uniform, waiting for a tricycle to pass by. Then, I enter the university gate with my hopes high that I won’t be late for my first class.

Fast forward to the longest hours of the day: "Vacants." My friends and I make the best out of our three-hour break by eating different kinds of snacks and drinks in the canteen, which leaves us even broker than we already are. But sometimes, that three-hour break feels like only 30 minutes when we are preparing for a quiz or a presentation.

Moving on to the next class—this is one of the challenges we also face: "afternoon classes." It's the sun’s brightest hour, and with the air-conditioning inside our room, combined with a long discussion that usually feels like a bedtime story, it makes me want to yawn and sleep. The scariest part is when your professor starts calling your name while you’re in the middle of daydreaming.

Kidding aside, those were just glimpses of my everyday life in college. However, the real struggles are the ones I don't talk about—the silent battles that no one sees. But in this diary, I want to keep everything light and positive.

The last part is going home. Finally, right? But no, being a student doesn’t stop at school, especially when you're in college. You're a student 24/7, with a part-time job of house chores and other responsibilities. Now, good night, diary. I still need to get at least six hours of sleep.😴🌌
