Luckly, Salva's uncle was there with a rifle and used it to hunt food for the group. Finding water is another big challenge for survival, especially since there is never a good source of clean water there, so the group must find a water like in lakes, small streams, otherwise they would die of dehydration. Wihout shelter they would be exposed , during the day, to the sun and, during the night they would exposed to animals that could hurt them and other tribes. They have shelter, resouces, warmth, and food. But, there is one thing missing and that is water. Water is a neccesity to live. Every year, the pond near her village dries up. Nya's family must move to a camp that is near a big lake. Unfortunately, the war has forced them to only move there on the five months of dry season. The lake is all muddy, barely any water, no resouces, little to no shelter, violents with other tribes.
