The number 5 symbolizes the idea of saving, to be saved, or to be rescued. Starting with the middle letter Mem, מ , which represents the world. It is ALAHAYAM that saves or rescues us from the world as we repent, follow, and keep His commandments.

On either side of the world, or Mem, are two Hebrew letters that both represent our final destination or goal in being saved.

The Chet, ח, is life, or eternal life, and often this character is a symbol for the Holy of Holies, or the Heavenly Kingdom, which is the only place to enjoy and receive eternal life.

The other letter, Shin, ש, is the eternal flame or burning bush, or even better, the tree of life, which all represent YHWHSHI, or again eternal life with YHWH.

Therefore, the number 5 is a powerful reminder that ALAHAYAM will save us from the world. Notice that the world is in the middle surrounded by the symbols of eternal life and our returning to the presence of YHWH. Despite feeling surrounded by evil and entrapped in our sinful lives, if we will turn to Him, repent of our sins and obey, HE will save us.

I really love the contrast and the message that if we but turn and look to the Savior, He will save us and we will be eternally encircled in Him!

They all heard the herald calling out that the bridegroom was coming. Quickly, they arose to meet him. Those who were wise and prepared put more oil in their lamps from the jars they brought. They then trimmed their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Let us now think about one of the most beautiful sentences in the Word of ALAHAYAM “The bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut” (Matthew 25:10). 
Yes, the Bridegroom will come. Those who have waited long and have remained steadfast will hear the call to come to the wedding.
