An example of a ritual is something like a seance while a tradition is eating Turkey at Thanksgiving every year

Rituals are based in religious beliefs while traditions have a sentimental and personal meaning. An example of a ritual would be sacrifices in order to appease gods/deities, while a tradition would be travelling to your birthplace every Christmas. Depending on how you view certain topics your opinions on wether they’re good or bad might change. I find most traditions innocent while some rituals go against what I believe.

The difference between a ritual and a tradition is that a ritual is something with a set of rules or procedures that you do while a tradition is something that you make up and pass down to another family member/ friend. A ritual may have more to relate to a religious practice and a tradition could be what you eat for dinner every friday. Neither or good or bad they change with what you do.

The difference between a ritual and a tradition is that a ritual is set activities to be carried out at specific times. A tradition is more of a belief or just something you do. An example of a tradition would be wearing matching pajamas on Christmas night. Both can be good, I personally hold no opinion. Everything has its ups and downs, but overall, it’s up to you if you choose to participate in either.

Rituals can be good or bad depending on what you bring up. A tradition is done consistently at the same time. Traditions make me think of like going to a different state each christmas break or doing the same thing every holiday. Traditions are usually good when it comes to my experiences.
