To me what makes a song relatable is how the song is performed with its lyrics. How passionate is the artist when they sing these songs? That allows me to feel the emotion and intensity of the song which then I can further apply it to situations that I may experience. The nice thing about being relateable is that it creates this bond with the listener and the song that they'll never forget. Once you listen to a song and you remember a memory or a smell or even a feeling and you associate that thing with the song, the song will never be the same again; you will always be reminded of that thing you once felt when you first listened to that song and I think that is really amazing. Every song will have a different meaning for every different listener.
