This is taken at Gallipoli, where the Australian soldiers fought in the war. Because the soldiers got the side of the war which had a more uneven terrain, their supplies had to be brought in with much effort. It was taken sometime in 1915. This photo shows the two soldiers going back to the trenches. The background works to suggest that the atmosphere must have been horrible. The mud is visible, the wires seem ratchet.

This letter is written be Basil She Stubbs to the luietnant governor of brisbane. It was written in 1914 by a 15 year old Australian. This depicts the writer asking for a personal meeting with the luitenant to talk about some plans that explain things about using the German vessels they captured and turn them into some of their own weapons. He also volunteers to go to the front in order to carry out his plan. This gives insight to many things. How young the soldiers could have been and how proud they were to go to war. It gives us insight on the relationship between Australia and Germany at that time. Tells us how the military in Australia was spread out during the war and etc.

This is the first page of a 25 page letter written be journalist Keith Murdoch to prime minister Andrew Fisher in 1915. This is the first realisation of how unfortunate the Australian soldiers were, having to got to war. Gallipoli is being described as one of the worst pages of history. The journalist visited Gallipoli but when returned, understood has underestimated the power of the opposition. He played a key role in stopping this propaganda and evacuating the Anzac soldiers in 1916.

This is one of the many posters that went around Australia. It give us an insight on how war was actually promoted as a good thing. This specific poster is actually aimed at the women and children, so they may than share it to the men in their houses. It also gives us slight insight on how many soldiers Australia was sending out in the war. This may help us infer the time of this poster, as we know the amounts of soldiers sent out according to the time.

This is again very similar to the other poster primary source. This poster if compared to the last one is more recent. It says 50 000 more soldiers, meaning a total of 100 000 soldiers are to be in Gallipoli. Otherwise everything other analysis corresponds to the previous poster.

This picture depicts the Anzac cove beach in Gallipoli. It is known as the Australian Ambulance Station. As you can see, it letting us know about the wounded and injured. Here. The ships also give us an insight on how many of the soldiers actually came here. From outside we can also figure beyond the mountainous terrain on the left side were the war trenches, shooting, killing and etc. In the distance we can also see a cart and people approaching. That may have been a path to make your way to the trenches.
