One day I was in New York city and it started to get really windy and wet. The news reporter said it will be a bit windy with a small bit of rain, problem is it was getting worse and the seas and rivers were getting higher and higher.Everyone didn't think bad of it but i was hoping it wouldn't be a perfect storm. The longer the day went on the worse the storm was getting. All of a sudden every one in New York got a message to find shelter, this is a perfect storm.I froze it took me a minute to cop on that I have to run and find shelter.Down the street a bit away a girl was on the ground screaming for help every body was stepping on her.I grabbed her and went to find her mother . A couple of minutes later I found her. I helped them in to the back of my car i drove off as if i had the heaviest boot ever .I drove to the New York Public Library . We rushed in as fast as our legs could take us . The flood was getting bigger and bigger. I had to ring my father over in Ireland but he wouldn't answer the phone. We started heading for the roof when a massive wave came. a lot of water came down the stairs and we were holding on for dear life. All of a sudden a dog was being pushed down the stairs. I knew whos dog this was. It was Mr.blues dog and he was no where in sight now i started to get worried that maybe the rather small tsunami had taken him away. we climbed up higher and higher as the library was being flooded the water was now rising really quickly and little pieces of wall plaster were coming off the wall and now we could go no further we were at the highest point of the building. everyone else was screaming while i was praying for dear life when suddenly a someone came flying (literally flying)up the stairs on a broomstick. It was Harry Potter. He stopped, hovering over us he yelled "VENTUS". The biggest gust of wind I had ever felt blew over us. Two seconds later the water was gone. We all yelled "Hurray" I wanted to thank him in person, but it was too late. He was gone. "Well," I sighed I guess I better start cleaning up.

                                                                       THE
                                                                       END

It was a perfectly normal day until I stepped outside. The wind was howling loudly and it was lashing down with rain. I ran back inside as fast as I could into mom and dad. They were watching the news. The news reported was saying the winds will reach up to 120 kph today at 1:00. 'Sadly there's no school today' dad said unhappily. When he wasn't looking i started smiling and laughing. Thank goodness I dont have to go back to that horrid teacher Miss Downlook. She smells like rotten cabbage has a pet cat named lovely she brings to school eww. Anyway back to the storm I went up stairs and rang my friends Harry, George, Fred, Oliver, John and Brian after all that I went downstairs but before I got to the landing I heard a loud CRASH!!!. My dad came lifting up the stairs he was yelling " something fell what was it? held me find out what it was" .We searched all inside first for any damage luckily there was non time to search outside. It was a tree it fell on to Mr.snap's house luckily five minutes ago he blew away there was a lot of damage done to his house but he wasn't hurt ."Thank god he wasn't hurt he owes me fifty euro "dad said thankfully . I'm going out to try and find him "I'm broke I'm not letting him away without him giving me my fifty euro. Then we all heard a big thump on the roof we looked upstairs and then there was a cat in a hat sitting on a cushion in my bedroom. It was Mr.Snap's cat called scratchy but there was no sign of Mr.Snap but then a big BANNNNNGGG!!!!! it was fat Mr.Snap who broke straight through our roof. Dad whispered angrily "well now he owes me a lot more than fifty euro" "Dad" i said Oh um "are u all right" he said sarcastically. I'm fine wheres Scratchy". Then Scratchy jumped off my cushion and ran over to Mr.Snap. "It's okay Scratchy. It's okay." "Okay did you bump your head on your fall" said Dad. "Why no of course not. How dare you accuse me of such a thing". "Okay spare me chit-chat, look outside ,it has cleared up!" I announced. "Yes thank god" screamed Dad with a huge look of relief on his face. He rushed out and suddenly stopped and said "Guys there's a problem". We all rushed outside and we found ourselves floatin on a fifty foot tornado. "What will we do now" I said grimly......

Hey I'm Brian and today I was helping my grandmother when the winds started to pick up. I did not take much notice because we live just beside the sea so it was , natural to have strong winds. As me and my grandmother walked into her house the T.V was on. Grandma said she must have left it on but now it was an alarm. Get into a safe place bee boo there is a tornado.'Well isn't that great I said to grandma.
The tornado was heading straight at us. Now I wish we put in the safe house. Well it is Ireland we never get tornado's. The TV came on again. The weather reporter was now saying to get in to a basement if you had one because they discovered that the tornado had come from the Atlantic Sea so it would be full of water. ''It least it won't get any worse'', I said to Grandma. But with my luck it did, it got a lot worse. Grandma's house was right at the sea I said before but now they were saying that the tornado would be coming straight to a little house along the coast and guess who's house that was. Ya, Grandma's. We are getting ready to die this is not going to be good. Grandma was freaking out she was "running" around yelling "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE" I told her to calm down the house started shaking. The tornado was getting closer we had to get out of here we were going to die if we did't move. So we had at least five minutes but Grandma wouldn't stop freaking out I was trying to calm her down but I just couldn't she was still shouting "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE" and she was a bit too old to run no offence Grandma. I was too young to die i had my whole life in front of me and I was thinking of leaving Grandma here to die but I couldn't I would never forgive myself. I finally got her to calm down and we had two minutes left. So, I told her to sit on the couch in her room because that was the lowest part of the house. It was thirty seconds now until the whirling, whistling and wild tornado would hit us. But, then, suddenly it swerved away from the house and back into the sea. I was amazed. Then I called Grandma up to the kitchen and to look out the window. There was someone standing there with a black silky gown on and a crest on it but I couldn't see what it was. Then it took down it's hood and guess who it was. Never mind you would never be able to guess who it was. It..it...it was HARRY POTTER!!!!!

I'll tell you a story now so. It started of as a brilliant day in the south-west of Limerick. It was sunny and there was no clouds in the sky.
I carried my son down to play a game of soccer in Glantine F.C. They were just after scoring when the wind picked up and I could see the clouds moving in swiftly, faster than I've ever seen them before. We kept playing as the half time break was about to happen and we waited it out doing the usual talking to the parents at the sideline. Today everyone kept their talking to the minim as there was such heavy rainfall it was gob-smacking, we were watching when a child fell to the ground and got up with a bloody nose and we told him to pull up his top and these were definitely no usual hailstones because when we saw his back it was destroyed with lumps and bumps. Suddenly lighting struck on the ground everyone backed away the winds were getting stronger, the rain was getting heavier we all went into the dressing rooms to keep out of the rain we. An hour pass instead of the winds and rain getting lighter they were getting even heavier we were scared to go out, one of the dad's had some Taytos in his son's changing bag and started passing them around the room so we wouldn't be hungry one of the dad's decided to go out and get help his words were stern and there was no changing his mind we waited for about 3 hours and still no sign of him and the wind was getting stronger there was silence in the room when eventually someone spoke "I am going to ring him" we all waited for him to pick up and miracles of miracles he picked up and said "I think he got help " Ten mins later we herd a helicopter in the air we were all over joyed. Someone said from the helicopter stay where you are we will get you. It still was 2 hours before we got out.The wind didn't ease off for the day. We all crowded into the chopper and it took off. A few of the children started bawling their eyes out from a mix of adrenaline, shock and fear. Seriously, how do they store that much water in their eyes. The pilot started dropping off people at their houses. All of their family members were worried sick about them and they all started crying as much as the kids in the helicopter. It was coming close to our house when the plane began to shake. When I say shake I dont mean a small twich. It felt like we were in the middle of an elephant stampede. I pushed my boy into the middle of the seat so he wouldnt fall out. As I was doing it I lost my grip. I was falling down to the ground like a missile. I saw my life flash before myb eyes, then darkness. I woke in a hospital bed with my family crowded around me. 'It is all Ok said the nurse'. I promise that I'll never playb soccar again
