This is Mr. Madin, and I teach radio and podcasting at Mamaroneck HS. I listened to a bunch of these, and I wanted to offer some tips for you. https://padlet.com/jekuo/xjapuztms5d4wkys/wish/1350279914 1. You really want to make sure your narration is done well. Regardless of the language, you want to focus on your speed, articulation (how you say words), and tone. You want to sound very engaging and interested.
2. With music, you can consider a few things, as well. One, you want to start the music on a specific beat, or a word you say that matters. Think of the moments when you have music as "like being a movie" of sorts, and you are moving the ideas along. But you also have the keep the music going long enough for that moment, and then fade it so when it ends, whatever you are saying without music stands out. Literally, the words said without music should be important enough that your voice stands out by itself. My students are working on this now, and it takes practice.
