Another thing that I notice was that to start a lot of the artists put a sign or meaningful picture that would help them get there points across
2) This makes me think that the sterotype that everyone that does graffiti is a bad person who's just trying to vandalize stuff is not true I now believe that all graffiti artists have a point to get across wether that be to not to drug or something else. Another thing that this makes me think is that a lot of people care about the bad stuff going on in the world they just choose to show this in a different way instead of writing a poem or giving speeches they decide to show it in the form of graffiti.
3) I think that this matters because it shows that so many people care about the bad things happing in the world and they are trying to take a stand to get it to end, so in some people's opinion it may not be the best form of standing up for something but I still think it is a good way to change the world. 2) This made me think how it can be very important to hold a passion, such as graffiti, or making art, etc. For example many of these artists showed social issues they may have valued, such as poverty.  This also made me think how even when you come from a different place, or your race is different it doesn't always mean you have different problems in your life, or different issues.
3) Having a passion, such as supporting a social issue can be very important. It can lead you to support an idea which matters to you. I think this also matters because if someone stands up to something they disagree with in society, they can make little changes, and maybe eventually change the problem. Another way it matters today in society is it shows that even if you are a different race, it doesn't change who you are, or what you can be.   • I noticed that graffiti comes in all different forms and usually shows some form of a social issue. Another thing I noticed was all the artists started out in the minority group but slowly began to grow popularity and became more respected. Not only that, but graffiti is full of the artists' character.
  • This makes me think graffiti is full of strong emotions from the artists and want to make a statement. Also, this makes me think we shouldn't overlook others the way we do. Finally, graffiti is a creative form in expressing a social issue.
  • This is important because the graffiti is from the artists' perspective and are putting something they're passionate about into the public. Also, their graffiti is full of statements and powerful emotions. Lastly, this is important because every work of art they create, tells a story whether it's obvious or not.
