Hi, I'm Lulu and I think globalisation is the expanding infrastructure of our world. Some benefits to globalisation is it gives access to many countries across the planet and allows us to explore different cultures, ethnicities and religions. However, some negatives of globalisation include the larger, "first-world" countries stepping on other, smaller countries to further their own progress. This can lead to inequality and political conflict. It makes me feel hopeful that we can learn from other nations and grow from mistakes, leading to a better, greener world for all. It makes me wonder how we, as a humanity can help each other grow.

I think Globalisation is the interconnectedness of the countries of the world, and how technology, media, and culture is thus shared between the countries

I think globalisation may be positive because it has allowed for a greater sharing of communication, technology and scientific advancement, information, and cultural understanding. It has also allowed countries to focus on a specialisation and to obtain other items through the increased trade.

I think globalisation may be negative because it has also encouraged the exploitation of workers and resources from third-world countries in order to feed the rapid rise in consumerism in first world countries

It makes me feel that globalisation is a complicated issue that has both extreme positives and extreme negatives, and it makes me wonder where the line is drawn from the positive to the negatives, and if there is anything that can be done to make it more positive to negative.

Brighton Secondary College
Name- Anastasia

I think globalisation is the interaction and connection of people/groups of people all around the world.
I think globalisation may be positive as we are exposed to so many more people, including their cultures, interests, etc, and have so much more understanding of what is happening around the world.
I think globalisation may be negative as it means that people can outsource lots of items and buy things from unethical sources overseas. As well as this, I think globalisation disproportionately positively affects 1st world countries. Basically, developed countries benefit more than developing countries and it can result in unequal economic growth.
It makes me wonder/question how we can balance the positives and negatives of globalisation for everyone to benefit.
