         <description><![CDATA[<div>Moore's law is basically a prediction that the number of transistors on integrated circuits will double every year. If the transistors are smaller, you can fit more on a single circuit and they produce less heat. This results in faster calculations. An example of this is Intel's microprocessors. In 2007 they were manufactured on a 65mm process, which was considered top of the line for it's time. Now they're manufactured on a 14nm process and are about 70% faster than their 2007 equivalents. Moore's law predicts smaller transistors. 7nm technology is due in a few years as well.</div>]]></description>
