  • Took pride in his humble origins and called himself a "Man of the people"
  • Wasn't humble when it came to his family being poor
  • He was influenced by his father's political views at a very early age
  • Was very disobedient, unruly, and aggressive
  • Was a bully at school  and moody at home
  • He was sent to the strict Salesian order at Feanza where he often stabbed fellow pupils using a penknife

Soon enough Mussolini and his followers came to the door of the government's leader in Rome and demanded that Mussolini become there new leader.  The old leader stepped down without a fight and Mussolini became the leader of Italy.

He indoctrinated many people including young children to be apart of fascism. He also wanted people to appeal to national pride and have loyalty to the government. If people were to rebel against the government Mussolini would use violence.
