This takes place when students learn through solving a real world problem. This requires students to take charge and take responsibility for their own learning. They are presented with a real world problem, they construct their own learning and obtain the knowledge they need in order to solve the problem. This is not something that is meant to be easy or something students can guess their way through. They break down the problem and work their way through it as they continue to obtain new knowledge.
