1)
Year founded: 1968
Location of offices:
Founders:
Main business activity: Manos del Uruguay is a For-Profit social enterprise formed by cooperatives that aims to end with poverty in Uruguay. They hire women from the rural areas in Uruguay, to produce clothes and blankets in an artisanal way. They then sell the production inside and outside Uruguay in both their stores and in stores of other well kn won brands.

2)
- Employs woman from the rural areas of Uruguay whose families suffer form economic issues.

- Produces and sells clothes and blankets within and outside Uruguay.

- They work with independent artists, who use all kinds of materials to promote the Uruguayan identity.

3)
In the case of Manos Del Uruguay, they help the same people that they employ. the consequences for one internal stakeholder can be to improve their economic status and give them a purpose, by employing them and making them feel better by demonstrating to them that there is more to their life than doing nothing all day.

Moreover, a consequence for the community, is that it will take people that produce nothing, and give them tasks, and pay them for their work. Also, the sale of the production of manos del Uruguay, transforms the traditional way of donating, into something more. Now, people are not just handing money away to people who do nothing, but instead, they are purchasing quality products, and at the same time know that by purchasing it they are helping someone who transformed their life, and now, is working hard to earn the money that they desperately need.

Luca Woodman, Marias Garbino y Federico Salmon

Rosina Varela, Natalia Lamolle and Pilar Hardoy

1-UNICEF (United Nations Children's Education Fund). It was created by the United Nations General Assembly in 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare
to children and mothers in countries that had been devastated by world war 2. UNICEF now works in over 190 countries and territories to protect the rights of every child. UNICEF has spent 70 years working to improve the lives of children and their families . They have offices in 7 different places; Florence, Budapest, Copenhagen, Geneva, Tokyo Brussels , and their headquarters are in New York.
Link to UNICEF webpage: https://www.unicef.org/
Video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=E1xkXZs0cAQ
2-
•Child protection and inclusion: UNICEF works with partners around the world to promote policies and expand access to
services that protect all children.
•Education: works around the world to support quality learning for every girl and boy, especially those in greatest danger of being left behind.
•Gender: empowers girls and women, to ensure their full participation in political, social and economic systems.
3-
Internal stakeholder—> volunteer or employee:
For the volunteers it can arise consequences like growing as a person, acquiring moral and social conscience regarding the problems of the world, and also emotional fulfillness.
For the employees as well as a profit, it can also bring them emotional fulfillness since they are working on a very important cause.

External stakeholder--> community.
The community certainly has very positive consequences. For the people that UNICEF helps, it changes their life for the better, for example it helps children to access a better education. Regarding the part of the community that UNICEF doesn't help (like us for example) it also has positive consequences for example it helps us to conscientize about the problems of the world and also lets us get involved in the problems or help from many sides.
For the media: UNICEF gives the media an opportunity to transmit the information and details about what they are doing.
