Along with new technology came new advances for the medical industry. Entertainment and items used to make everyday life easier was created. We still use these things today. We still use these things today just in more advance form. 

Harry- in my opinion, i think the Kent State shooting was important because it made people more aware about danger and safety, Kent State shooting was a political protest and students decided to make a bad decision. They hurt fellow peers at a school, this decision will continue to affect us up to this day. 

Luna- Who’s your 1970s fashion icon?

Harry- Twiggy inspired women to go out of their comfort zone with their clothes and change their makeup. She helped women of the 70’s to be confident and feel good about who they are.

Luna- What’s your favorite 1970's movie?

Harry- Grease! Because it showed everything that teens were into during the 70’s. It gave everyone a sight into the teens lives.

Ford- Born july 14th 1913, Ford was a vice president then later became president because the scandal with nixon made him think he could make a change to america. He was defeated to Carter the next time he ran.

Carter- Born october 1st 1924 he was a chief executive, he served as president and fixed many issues. He was awarded the nobel prize for peace in 2002.

Since the vietnam war had just ended it left america with many problems to fix. Some problems were , the energy shortage,high inflation and unemployment. High inflation happened because there was high demand for some products so the prices went up. The unemployment was because of the women work force (women began working and not being stay at home moms). Also, soldiers from the vietnam war came back and they needed jobs. There was more people in the workforce for limited jobs.  Since most people had cars, everyone needed oil. America was getting oil from places around the world and the supply eventually ran low leaving an oil shortage which led to the energy crisis.
