I would give this book five stars because of the suspense the gives throughout the story. When I was reading the story I was always very excited and leaves you on a cliffhanger in every chapter including the end so it was always fun thinking about what was going to happen next.

Plot

The plot in this story is in rural Nevada during a huge blackout. In the story, a boy and his friends must walk 96 miles to get food and water after all his supplies get stolen. His dad left a day before the blackout and nobody knows where he is. He was a survival expert and had many supplies to last them if any blackout ever happened. I chose this picture because I think this is how the boys felt when they saw the never-ending road on their 96-mile walk.
