         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sushi was a traditional meal in Japanese culture in the past, as they enjoyed eating raw fish, beef, or even chicken. This meal of only the raw meat or fish was called sashimi. They then started to preserve the raw food in beds of rice wrapped in seaweed, known as sushi.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This festival occurs during the third weekend of May (this year it is from May 17 - May 19). Sanja Matsuri occurs in celebration of the founders of Sensoji Temple. Through the festival there are portable shrines in which Shinto deities are worshipped. The celebration is said to bring good fortune to the local residents and businesses.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Taiko</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Taiko is a drum that is traditionally used in Japanese music. This drum was historically used during wars to intimidate the enemy or communicate commands throughout the allied army, which then later began being used for Japanese music. It is now used in several traditional Japanese tunes, and is used at several festivals and events throughout Japan.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To further dive into the illustration presented, Mount Fuji is a popular volcano in Japan. It is the coutry’s tallest peak at about 3,776 meters. It has been a pilgrimage site for centuries, and is considered one of Japan’s three sacred mountains. Tourists and even residents enjoy hiking through the trails below or through the volcano to understand a deeper meaning of history and to appreciate the nature and scenery that is present.</div>]]></description>
