Vygotsky came up with 4 Elementary Mental Functions, which are: Attention, Perception, Sensation and Memory.
What I found most significant about Leg Vygotsky is his theory on Language. When a baby constantly performs private speech with another individual it increases its chances to become more socially competent.
Children tend to learn faster when people are around them.
