         <description><![CDATA[<div>This Padlet is about Emmett Louis Till, an African-American during the Civil Rights Movement. Emmett Till, born July 25 of 1941, was raised and lived in Chicago, until he went to visit family near Money, in the Mississippi Delta region. There, in August of 1955,  he was murdered by two white men after allegedly cat-calling a white women. After his family had found out, they charged the white men on the account of murder. During the trials and after they went south, Emmett became a staple in the Civil Rights Movement.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The two white men who was found not guilty for Emmett Till's murder confronted the 16 year old boy at Moses Home late one night they then kill him later on. During the trial there was lots of white people in the court room . The whole jury was an all white all men . The jury founded that the two white men was ''not guilty'' after an hour. More than 70 reporters was in the room. Mamie till and Moses both testify the prosecution. In 1956 the two men then admit to killing Emmett Till. All the African American civil rights leaders were very upset including his mother. Black people in Chicago that didn't even know Emmett Till was Beyond surprises because it was different in Chicago. They attended his open casket funeral too see what happened to the 13 year old boy. </div>]]></description>
