The company reported a significant increase in net sales, driven by strong performances across its brands, particularly Anthropologie and Free People</p></li><li><p>For the fourth quarter, Urban Outfitters saw net sales rise by 10.1%, reaching $1.64 billion. Net income grew by 49%, reaching $120.3 million, with earnings per share of $1.28. The company also experienced a significant increase in gross profit and operating income, demonstrating strong operational efficiency.</p></li><li><p>For the fiscal year ending January 31, 2025, Urban Outfitters reported net sales of $5.55 billion, up 7.7% from the previous year. Net income reached a record $402.5 million, and adjusted earnings were also strong, highlighting solid profitability</p></li><li><p>Urban Outfitters expanded its global presence by opening 57 new retail locations, while closing 30 stores.          <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>KPI 1 (Sales per Square Foot)</strong> - Sales per square foot is critical in determining how effective store space is being used to increase sales. Urban Outfitters has recently announced their plan to open 58 new stores this year, in varying parts of the country and the world. Now the public can see whether the vastly increased amount of store space will have a direct impact on their thriving sales. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>KPI 2 (Conversion Rate)</strong> - The conversion rate measures how many online sessions lead to customers actually buying the products in their carts. The conversion rate is an important KPI, especially considering how quickly online shopping is becoming popular because of its convenience and accessibility. The conversion rate lets the company know if the online shopping experience is well-designed and easy to navigate.  </p><p><br></p><p><strong>KPI 3 (Sell-Thru Rate)</strong> - The sell-thru rate is the percentage of a store's inventory which is sold. The sell-thru rate tells the company a lot about the store's ability to efficiently sell products at a specific pace, it can forecast the demand for products, and can be a good determinant for how items that are either selling well or badly should be priced.  </p>]]></description>
