It also has  6 pupils and 16 colour-receptive cones ,
(colour receptive cones are specialized retinal cells containing pigments which are  the natural coloring matter of animals and humans) .  the mantis shrimp can detect ten times more color than a human, including ultraviolet light(a form of radiation that humans cannot see). It can move each eye independently and uses this exceptional eyesight to avoid predators and track down prey.
