To prevent ourselves from catching the mpox virus without the aid of vaccines, we can can protect ourselves by staying away from anyone diagnosed with the virus. Additionally, especially in public, we should practice proper hygiene by making sure to always wash our hands properly, and if we cannot wash our hands, we should avoid touching our faces. With that, by following these practices and listening to health advisories we can stay protected.

Mahalagang sundin natin ang mga batas ng ating gobyerno dahil ang mga ito ay ginawa upang mapanatili ang kaayusan at kaligtasan ng lipunan. Sa kaso ni Alice Guo makikita natin ang kahalagahan ng pagrespeto sa mga batas. Ang hindi pagsunod sa batas ay nagdudulot ng problema, hindi lang sa atin sarili, kundi pati na rin sa ibang tao. This would likely mean stricter rules and regulations imposed by the Spanish government. Original Filipino culture and languages could have been pushed aside or forgotten. Economic problems would continue, leading to more poverty and inequality. Spanish customs would dominate, hindering the development of Filipino identity. In this scenario, the Philippines would be a very different place, with fewer opportunities for its people.

Since the Monkeypox virus can spread through close contact with an infected person, such as touching contaminated objects, we should refrain from going to crowded places and maintain an appropriate distance from the people around us. We must also wash our hands regularly and wear a mask in public places. Lastly, We must keep ourselves healthy to prevent sickness by eating nutritious food, taking our vitamins, and getting enough hours of sleep.

I believe that even without vaccines to protect us from MPOX, we can still stay safe through adhering to health protocols like social distancing and wearing of face masks. We should also be informed of the virus' symptoms, transmission, etc. as to be aware and alert.
