I am King James I and I was the first Puritan King of England and I took over from the great Queen Elizabeth.I was the first King to translate the bible into English and we call it The King James Bible.I was honored to be the King founded one of the most prominent settlements in the newly acquired lands of America.I named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I am Charles I and I believe in the divine right of kings and I struggled with the Parliament over the taxation,religion and the government.My feud with the Parliament increased and it led to me dissolving the governed body many times.The conflict with the Parliament caused the English civil war and I called the Royalists but my battle ended in defeat and I was executed for treason against my country.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I am Oliver Cromwell and I was the Army General during the English Civil War when Charles I was ruling I was also called the Lord Protecter before I died.I changed the government by getting rid of the monarchy and I established the Commonwealth I was also apart of James I execution and I was also a military dictator.I let the conquest of Ireland and Scotland and I tried to name England the more dominant European power.

Charles II (1658-1685)

I am Charles II and I was exiled from England I was sent to France by Cromwell because I was a threat to the throne because I was Charles I son.Once Oliver Cromwell died I went back to to England and restored the monarchy but when I got back The Great Fire of England destroyed half of England.I made a policy that is called the Declaration of Indulgence and that means that you have the freedom to worship any kind of religion.

James II (1685-1688)

I am King James II and I am a Roman Catholic,I had 12 illegitimate children I was also the last Roman Catholic who ruled England ,Ireland, and Scotland.A lot of people had a problem with me because of my religion because the majority of England was a Protestant because of the challenges with my religion the Glorious Revolution started.I was overthrown peacefully and it solidified the Constitutional Monarchy and the powers of the Monarchy was limited after.

William and Mary (1688-1702)

I am Mary and my father was King James II, I was married to my 1st cousin William of Orange a Dutch prince when my father was overthrown we were asked to replace him. William and I agreed to follow the laws of the Constitutional Monarchy and with the decisions of the Parliament.Williams and I passed the English Bill of Rights in 1689 and that officially limited the Monarchy.
