Family Lake House

This theme is important to me because they were taken in Lake George, where my cabin is. 19 Baumann Drive, or the cabin, was bought by my grandparents and I have spent weeks in the summer and winter there, going out on the water and skiing during the winter. The lake has held many memories, mostly with my family but with some friends as well. I remember going out on that lake with my brother paddleboarding and reading in the hammock. It is a very sentimental and nostalgic place I will always cherish. I would maybe consider this for my theme.

Construction & Architecture

This theme is very important to me as I have been interested in architecture since I was very young. I grew up watching shows like Fixer Upper, so I was over the moon when I was chosen to go on a few construction sites through Whiting-Turner. This week-long shadow opportunity was so impactful for me and I got to experience the digital and in-person sites. It was a week of listening and learning, and I walked away with incredible knowledge and it allowed me to gain major perspective. These are pictures taken of some of the sites at Wexford 4MLK and the Johns Hopkins Medical Center, all in the city of Baltimore. I would consider this for my theme.

Botanical

This theme is important to me because I love nature and all things botanical. Up close photography is one of my favorites, especially with flowers. In the spring and summer, my favorite thing is the greenery. These flowers in my backyard caught my attention, and I took a few pictures of them. I also love taking up close pictures of flowers because sometimes bees can be caught in frame and it makes the photo more intricate. I would maybe consider this for my theme.
