Nobody knew where they were. The plane had been flying smoothly over the vast ocean when suddenly, without warning, a storm appeared. Dark clouds loomed ahead, and the plane was soon engulfed in turbulence. Lightning flashed across the sky as the plane shook violently. Passengers clutched their seats, fear written on their faces. The flight attendants tried to calm them, but the fear in their eyes betrayed their words.

All of a sudden, the plane was struck by lightning, causing the engines to fail. The aircraft descended rapidly, and the once-calm sea below now seemed like a vast, endless abyss. The pilots struggled to regain control, but it was too late. With a deafening crash, the plane hit the water, breaking apart on impact. Survivors, disoriented and terrified, clung to floating debris, surrounded by the wreckage in the middle of the vast ocean, with no land in sight.

As night fell, there was no sign of rescue. Hours passed, a faint sound reached their ears - the distant hum of a search helicopter. It grew louder, closer, until finally, a light cut through the morning mist. Relief washed over the survivors.

They had been found.

Nobody knew where they were. In the serine village of Utopia dawn broke with golden light filtering through the trees. Life moved at a gentle pace; children played by the river and elders sat outside their homes, sharing stories. But by midday, the peacefulness was shattered.

Without warning, the ground began to shake. At first, it was a low rumble, easily mistaken for distant thunder. But within seconds, the tremors grew violent. Houses swayed and the earth beneath them seemed to ripple. Trees toppled and the ancient stone bridge that connected the village to the farmlands crumbled into the river.

Emelda a young mother, grabbed her daughter and ran for safety, narrowly escaping as their home collapsed behind them. The air filled with dust and the sound of terrified cries. People stumbled into the open square, searching for loved ones, their faces etched with fear and disbelief.

As the tremors finally subsided, the village lay in ruins. Debris was everywhere and the once tranquil river now carried fragments of their broken lives downstream. Yet, in the midst of the chaos, a sense of community emerged. Neighbours began to dig through the rubble, helping one another. Emelda clutching her daughter, knew they had lost much but they had each other. Together they would rebuild.

Nobody knew where they were. We were on a hiking trip in a remote area known for its volcanic activity. We had been trekking for hours, taking in the breathaking views of the surrounding landscape, when suddenly, we heard a deep rumbling sound. At first, we thought it was just thunder, but as we looked up, we saw plumes of smoke and ash billowing into the sky from the nearby volcano. It was a sight unlike anything we had ever seen before. As we watched in awe, the rumbling grow louder, and the ground beneath us began to shake. We quickly realized that we were witnessing a volcanie eruption, and we knew we had to find a safe prace to take cover. We scrambled to find shelter, but the sheer power and force of the eruption made it difficult to move.

The sky turned a dark , ominous shade as ash and smoke filled the air, making it difficult to breathe. It felt like the entire world was shaking, and we couldn't help but feel a sense of fear and wonder at the same time. It was a reminder of the raw power of nature and our own smallness in the face of such forces. As the eruption continued, we heard loud explosions and saw glowing rivers of lava flowing clown the sices of the volcano. It was a mesmerizing and terrifying display of nature's fury. Despite the danger, we couldn’t tear our eyes away from the spectacle unfolding before us. After what seemed like an eternity, the eruption began to subside, and the sky slowly cleared. We emerged from our shelter and were greated by a landscape dramatically altered by the eruption. The once lush and green surroundings were now

covered in a thick layer of ash and debris.

As we made our way back to safely, we couldn’t stop thinking about the incredible power and beauty of the volcanic eruption. It was a humbling experience that made us realize just how small and insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. Witnessing a volcanic eruption was a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. It was a powerful reminder of nature's ability to both awe and terrify us, and it's an experience we will always carry with us.
