If the Testing app is open:

Reset the screen resolution with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + 0 (zero), then close and relaunch the testing app.

If the testing app is NOT open

Reset the screen resolution with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + 0 (zero), then open the testing app

Steps to Assign Accommodations (NWEA MAP)

Open Test Session: Go to nwea.org, log in, go to the MAP Growth at the top in black, then select Manage Test Sessions to create or open a saved session.
Select Students: Check the box next to the student(s) who need accommodations.
- Note: Students must be in the same grade to be selected simultaneously
- Assign test
- select the test
Assign Accommodations Button: Click the Assign Accommodations button.
Select Features: In the pop-up window, check the required accommodations (e.g., text-to-speech, color contrast, extended time).
- Text-to-Speech: Found under "Embedded Designated Features" or "Embedded Accommodations".
- Click all 4 options -see images before
- Save: Click Assign
You may also want to assign the correct test to the rest of the class so that the session is saved for everyone. (the Student with accommodations should have the word "yes" under accommodations)
End the session and Save it as the Name of the Student with the test they are taking (ex. math)
Save and exit
You will now find this saved in the "Saved Testing Sessions"

Reserve rooms for the Make-ups at least two weeks ahead of time (assume 20-30 students).
1. Assign rooms to be SGT appropriate (no more than 10 students to a room.
2. Plan to start at 8:30am (Period 1) and continue until testing is complete. [This assumes flexibility for any student who may take a long time and have a lot of tests. They will need breaks and may need to be tested again on a second day.]
LS team meeting on the Thursday last period before the make-up day and assign students to make-up testing rooms.
Email staff the list of students who will be doing make-up testing along with the room assignments. Teachers will take attendance and then send students to the correct room.
