COVID caused unfortunate Things like people losing loved ones, all schools going online, people losing jobs, lack of entertainment because of everything closing like cinemas and malls closing. What the impacts of these unfortunate events were online shopping being really popular and OTT platforms being famous like Netflix and amazon. Then the second half of 2021 everything started making a come back because Covid cases were going down. I was really happy about these openings because I have always loved to watch films and I like in person school better than online. Therefore places like cinemas, restaurants, malls and normal made a come back. Many lost someone that was dear to them, many had trouble thriving without being with others who supported them, and some got better connected with their culture and family. Although the year could've been positive or negative for different people overall the way things that were traditionally done were changed, and it resulted in a stronger population. Some people talk about old war stories, instead we can talk about the virus when we get older! This is because people had to stay home and were scared for not only themselves, but their family too. Covid - 19 has affected countries and families around the world, making them have to call by using social media rather than seeing eachother in person. Even though the video does mention that people were mentally affected, it also mentions all the things that people learn throughout 2021. People got to meet their family later on in the year. They went on vacation and got better at more skills. Not just that, but so many people have many new friends on the internet and on social media. One thing that many people have experienced though, is that people got to used to seeing faces from above their nose, rather than seeing their whole face. It has happened while entering buildings, meeting your friends/family, and much more! For example, it mentions how to be hopeful and how to believe in yourself. Another thing is that people have found interest in hobbies that they never did before. People have learned things that they never knew before. The pandemic has let people do so many things that they never did before. The pandemic changed the world and everything that has happened. People ended up using to much technology which has affected their eyes instead of reading books. Mostly, it was jobs and schoolwork. It can affect the future too, but people have found time to spend with their families more and more. It has changed schools, buisnesses, families, but not all in a negative way. As I have mentioned before, many positive things have happened. People also realised that they are not in the worst situation. Many other people have situations that are worse then theirs. Finnally, people have realised that Black lives matter, Indeginous people matter, Asian people matter, and many more! I was worried nothing would change and it would be the same as 2020 all over again. Some things that stood out to me during this year were the amounts of violence and the development of new variants, as well as the violation of rights around the world. These things were the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as the Stop Asian Hate movement, by the increase of violence I mean events like the Al-Aqsa Mosque violence that left over 205 palestinians wounded in just a few bomb strikes and the storming of Capitol Hill. Being in lockdown affected the mental health of many people, but it also helped. Families got to spend more time together and spend more time outside. In fact, many have been wondering if COVID-19 will ever actually go away. Lockdown provided time for many people to reflect and ponder on what to do next. Challenges occured when people chose not to vaccinate, and many people lost jobs, while others had to continue working so we could stay at home. It will take a large amount of time for people to move forward after all of these deaths including all those who died from COVID-19. People will need time to heal.

I was actually isolating myself from everyone at the time because my friends kinda just left me and I felt really alone, but this one scene in Steven universe it just blew my brains out. it is literally one of the most simplest piece of advice ever and yet it hit me in the gut so badly  "Doing work is important, but feeling good is important too".

I used to care for others and not myself, but now I know that I have to take care of myself and not people who take me for granted. In Texas a snow storm happened, hundred of thousand's of people didnt have electricity and were freezing. Alos many people in Afghanistan have been killed or stabed by the Taliban. Anime has gotten more popular in 2021. The governemt won't fight back with the Taliban and when the citizens where evacuating some of them got killed.  Also Joe Bidan becomes U.S president. Justin Trudeu become the prime minister again. Also a lot of people are having to wear mask. You also can't dine in if you dont verify your vaccination. Also Larry the king died, he was a famouse interviewer. Also there was Asians lives matter. Also North Korea threathens to build more nukes and calls U.S their biggest enemy. People cant go to sports game anymore either. Decrease in employment during pendemic. A lot of people also lost their loves one because of Covid. A lot of schools are shutting down. People also have been investing stocks and have tried new things like coding. Also people have developed new skills such as cooking, coding, ect. Menatl health is affecting people a lot for example you sitting in the house all day. Also online class has been really tough like maybe your wifi isnt working or you dont got the materials. Also people in the olympics have been practixing and some of the other players are not that confident. Covid can affect the future for examples if we are gonna be online or if jobs are gonna exits anymore.  A lot of people have made friends online or on social media. People also have trouble meeting friends. Also if your family members have covid or symtoms then you have to stay home too.
