CISR was founded in 1996 as the Humanitarian Demining Information Center, and shortly thereafter became the Mine Action Information Center. in 2008 they changed it to CISR center for international stabilization and recovery.

to conflict post conflict research,education and training on landmine remediation.

Projects/Programs

peer support: provide training to victims of conflict to become counselors to others who are also suffering.

Reslience Workshops: is a workshop providing an innovative regional leadership and training program for survivors of landmines and explosive-ordnance injuries in the Middle East. The workshop helped survivors make meaning of past events, learn to manage emotions in new ways, find social support, personal strength and inspiration.

our mission is to go out to countreis to help those victims fighting in war. we provide food and water, we help the victims get educated.

what strategies /programs /projects are we using to meet this objective?

we gather a group of volunteers to go to countries where there is war and help the needed.

Jim Harris began his career as an educator in the Wisconsin Indian Teacher Corps where he taught children. Since 2006, Jim has worked in cooperation with Phoenix Clearance Ltd., a New Zealand company doing clearance of bombs, land mines and other unexploded ordnance in Laos. He works with a rapid-response team that removes or destroys ordnance discovered by villagers
