         <description><![CDATA[<p><b><u>Who founded the organization </u></b></p><p>CISR was founded in 1996 as the Humanitarian Demining Information
Center, and shortly thereafter became the Mine Action Information Center. in 2008 they changed it to CISR center for international stabilization and recovery.</p><p><b><u>who runs and works for (CISR)</u></b></p><p>Ken Rutherford as the director of the cisr and professor of the political science at James Madison university. as a director he facilitates international post conflict missions and projects. </p><p>also all the workers you can find under this link <u><a href="http://www.jmu.edu/cisr/staff/index.shtml">http://www.jmu.edu/cisr/staff/index.shtml</a></u></p><p><u><b>Mission</b></u></p><p>to conflict post conflict research,education and training on landmine remediation.</p><p><b><u>Projects/Programs</u></b></p><p>peer support:  provide training to victims of conflict to become counselors to others who are also suffering.</p><p>Reslience Workshops: is a workshop providing an innovative regional leadership and training program for survivors of landmines and explosive-ordnance injuries in the Middle East. Harris began his career as an educator in the Wisconsin Indian Teacher Corps
where he taught children. Since
2006, Jim has worked in cooperation with Phoenix Clearance Ltd., a New Zealand
company doing clearance of bombs, land mines and other unexploded ordnance in
Laos. He works with a rapid-response team that removes or destroys ordnance
discovered by villagers</p><p><b><u>Members of the WHWV Board of</u></b>

of friends and supporters. Financial support comes from individual donors and
