         <description><![CDATA[<div>Brahmgupta was the leading astronomer and mathematician that lived in his time. <br>He was born in<strong> 598 BC</strong> to <strong>Jishnugupta </strong>(his father). <br>Brahmgupta made advances in astronomy, such as finding the <strong>method to calculate the position of heavenly bodies over time</strong>, <strong>the calculation of solar and lunar eclipses</strong>, <strong>their rising and setting, </strong>and<strong> conjunctions.</strong><br>In his book, Brahma Sputa Siddantika, he describes mathematical content such as <strong>a good explanation of the role of zero, rules for the multiplication of both positive and negative numbers, a method of computing square roots, ways to solve linear and quadratic equations</strong>, and many more mathematical rules.&nbsp;<br>He has contributed a lot to the field of Astronomy and Mathematics and has become one of the greatest Ancient Indian Scientists in history. &nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
