As a student in the esthetics and spa management program, i have learned a lot about hair reduction and IPL. It is important to state that your service is hair reduction and not removal as it is not possible to fully remove all hair growth by laser. A lot of spas will claim they offer effective, results driven laser hair removal anyways to keep clients coming for the service and receiving money, when realistically it is not guaranteed or meant to fully remove hair.

A lot of the time the celebrity does not even use the product and it is a marketing scheme.

An example of this is when a politician makes a long, detailed speech that is filled with different ideas to promote a specific outcome. All the information this politician is relaying might make sense by how he/she is explaining it but when looked at closer their ideas lack substance and are not meaningful. This could be a politician making a promise that they do not even fully understand themselves or they are trying to convince themself they are right.

an example of this is when you are looking at the clouds and see a familiar pattern out of one that you cannot unsee. When i was young, i saw a cloud shaped like an angel shortly after my grandpa passed away. I looked at this as a message from my grandpa, although growing up i debunked you can see many patterns in the clouds and this doesn’t mean that it is actually there or a real message.

The Placebo effect is when someone believes they are making improvements or feeling a certain way, even if the treatment they are using is inactive. An example of this is somebody with severe depression starting to take antidepressants, and they feel like they are so much better the first day taking it. They perceive and observe that this will make them better, pushing them to feel like it is already working when realistically it takes up to 2 weeks for antidepressants to work (from experience).

It is assumed that it is scary to them that their child is acting up, and jump to this conclusion instead of looking deeper into the issue.

an example of this is people who experience strong hallucinations during sleep paralysis. People who experience this often describe being unable to move and seeing very terrifying figures/hallucinations in their bedroom. Even though sleep paralysis is studied to be associated with insomnia and bad sleep cycles, it does not explain the terrifying things these people see during this.
